After completing her highest college education in Kuching, Sarawak – The Land of Hornbill (Borneo, East Malaysia), Melissa left her beloved family to pursue her studies in Australia and obtained a Business Degree in Marketing from Edith Cowan University in 2005.

With more than 10 years of experience, her extensive management and medical administration background began when she joined the Department of Veterans Affairs as she served as a Service Officer for the Claims Processing Department. She then continued working with Practitioners in various General Practices, Community Care & Health Services and as a Practice Manager for a private Allied Health Practice prior to joining MediBizz in 2016. She was also the Coordinator for Dementia Education and Training for Carers for 2 consecutive years.

Melissa prides herself in performing efficiently in a high pressure environment. Her role is varied and not just limited to guiding, supervising and managing the overall work performance at MediBizz practices, but also to oversee the recruitment, training and conducting regular staff appraisals in ensuring the quality of work produced in the practice is according to the highest accredited standard.

Leading by example, Melissa is passionate in motivating and empowering her team to have the ability in recognising their own talents and intelligence in helping them to grow within the company.

Besides carrying her duties internally, Melissa is also the Event Coordinator and Creative Stylist for all MediBizz exclusive functions and events.

For leisure, she enjoys travelling to different countries and learning to explore their food and cultures. Most of all, she enjoys quality time decorating her country home and reading motivational books.

She also loves ballroom dancing and listening to classical Jazz and Ballads.
